Cutting each individual tomato is pretty time consuming.
This is a 'kitchen hack' I learned from Sarah Carey of Martha Stewart.
- Grab a large dinner plate and flip it upside down.
- Arrange tomatoes within circumference of centre ring on plate.
- Place another like-size plate on top, right-side-up
- With non-dominant hand, gently (but firmly) press down on top plate.
- Using a very sharp, serrated knife, slice in between the two plates.
- Remove rop plate, and voila!
